G.M. Kopec lives in Manhattan, Illinois with her husband and two children with
twenty-seven years of work experience in the banking technology industry.
G.M. Kopec has entertained her children with silly songs and stories
throughout their lives. She has been writing poetry all her life. The Magical
Marty Reading Adventures were written for her son Jimmy, as he is
navigating through life trying to find a true friend.

Thomas McAteer is an illustrator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a
graduate of West Chester University and studied Multimedia Design at
University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He has traveled across the globe to
gather inspiration for his numerous picture books, painting in Florence,
Venice, Budapest, Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam and more.
