Choose a Magical Marty title and select a Story Time Program module that suits your story time theme! Magical Marty Reading Adventures offers three types of Author Story Time Program modules; basic, enhanced and enhanced with a writing exercise. Please review the modules and their content below.

Story Time Basic Module (30 - 60 minutes) Audience: PreK, K, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grades Introduction

Story Time Enhanced Module (45 - 60 minutes) Audience: 3rd and 4th Grades Introduction Interactive discussion about reading. Read the selected title(s). Play the "Secret Word" game.
Write down two secret words prior to the presentation.
The first child to say the secret word receives an autographed Magical Marty book.
Write a quick story/poem using audience responses.
(Require a chalkboard or marker board on site).

Story Time & Writing Exercise (60 - 90 minutes) Audience: 3rd & 4th, 5th, 6th Grades Introduction Discuss writing and reading as it relates to “How did you write the Magical Marty stories?” Play the "Secret Word" game.
Write down three secret words prior to the presentation.

Write a quick story/poem using audience responses.
(Require a chalkboard or marker board on site).
Read the selected title(s). Discuss the children’s author project. Each child needs at least eight index cards. Each child should already have a story topic Work on identifying a title for their story. Each child writes a descriptive word or phrase on each index card. Discuss their story’s beginning, middle, and ending. The final task of the writing exercise is their storybook. Distribute Mazes & Connect the Dots Activity Pages.
